REC FIRST AID

A practical two day course designed for people who work in the outdoors or who use the outdoors for pleasure. The course is suitable for Teachers, Outdoor Instructors, Climbers and Canoeists alike. It is recognised as the minimum qualification for MLTUK, ML Summer and Winter Awards, Single Pitch Supervisors Award, RYA, BCU, BASI, ASSI, BOF, and by most other Governing Bodies. Practical scenarios playa big part in this course, including dealing with multiple casualty situations.

Next 4 Week Climbing Course

This course is intended to give beginners an understanding of climbing so as to help them progress from the basics to leading indoors and starting to have a look at climbing outdoors.
The course consists of four 1 ½-hour sessions, on the same night each week, plus free climbing afterwards. The sessions run between 7.00pm and 8.30pm.
