Recently Stolen Climbing Gear

Please read the following email from a climber who has recently been a victim of theft. If anybody thinks they might have been offered any of this gear, please give us a call at Awesome Walls Stockport on 0161 494 9949. Thankyou.

STOLEN GEAR

Dear All,

On Monday 8th May my van was broken into on Snake Pass and quite a large amount of climbing gear was taken (yes I know I was foolish for leaving it!). Please could I ask you to keep an eye out for gear being sold on notice boards. Some of my gear is quite unusual so I thought it might be easily spotted. Here's a list of what was taken:

60m yellow/green rope (shortened at 1 end)
Large bouldering mat - Alpkit, blue and black. (one strap broken and tied on)
Orange and black Wild Country harness - loads of gear loop - Elite Syncro ziplock
5 wired tricams (rare) - 1 is frayed
9 cams - 8 in a set (trango flexicams) 1 green 3CU
large set of nuts - mixed brands + some duplicates, DMM, WC and 1 green curved nut (originally on 3 carabinas: silver, orange and blue)
5 hexes - 4 on white rope, 1 x huge No. 11 wired (rare)
2 belay devices: 1 battered red ATC, 1 new reverso3
Various Quickdraws: snapgates + short grey tapes, some wiregate with black tapes, some with silvers and red wire gates and black and white tapes, 1 long red and white tape, 1 60cm nylon extendable.
1 grigri - silver
1 mini traxion (red and scuffed)
Various screw gates inc large dmm boa, several small and silver, 2 gold and red
various slings - red and black 240s, grey, black and white and orange 120s, Some knotted rope and cord used as aiders

4 lakedistrict 1:25000
2 snowdonia
1 yorkshire dales

Guidebooks:
burbage, millstone and beyond
3 peak bouldering guides (some old and rare inc RFX)
Scrambles of snowdonia

If you suspect that any of this gear is being offered please contact AWCC Stockport ASAP. I know it's a long shot but I'm gutted and really want my gear back or at least see the criminals punished.
